The R/3 System starts the graphical structure display in the Functional Location Structure: Structure Graphic screen.
The screen is divided into a display area and a navigation area. You can vary the section of the overall structure that is shown in the display area by manipulating the square displayed in the navigation area. You are looking at the highest structural level of the purification plant.
When you enter 1 in the Levels below field, you see only the first hierarchy level. To display all levels, you must enter a higher value, for example 10.

The R/3 System branches to the Display Functional Location: Master Data screen. You can see the data for this functional location. To find out more about this data, check out the different data boxes. For example, choose the Organization tab page to display the maintenance-specific responsibilities (maintenance planning plant and maintenance planner group).
The rectangle for the functional location Biological purification is still displayed on the screen.
The R/3 System expands the structural graphic to show the next level of the selected functional location.
By repeating the steps Select and Expand for each of following structural levels that are displayed, you go further into the structure of the purification plant. If a piece of equipment has been installed on a functional location, this is displayed as a box in a different color. If applicable, you can even go to the BOM of the individual components.
