New Methods of Evaluating Break Data

Description

1. Dynamic breaks
In previous releases, the dynamic breaks which can be stored in view V_T550P, Work Break Schedule , were only evaluated using the start of planned working time. Function DYNBR enables you to adjust these breaks in time evaluation using data such as the first clock-in entry.
For information on the function and personnel calculation rule to be used, please see RPDSYS00: FUNT.DYNBR, CYCL.TF10 (not active in schema TM00).
2. Breaks outside of planned time
In previous releases breaks occurring before or after planned working time were not taken into account in time evaluation. As of 3.0A the standard system includes and evaluates all breaks recorded in the daily work schedule. This standard setting can be changed using operation TFLAG (Sample cycle TD00).
For information on the function and personnel calculation rule to be used, please see RPDSYS00: CYCL.TD00, OPET.TFLAG
3. Breaks for overtime on public holidays
Using subschema TOB0, you can have the system include the breaks in the daily work schedule for attendances on public holidays.
For information on the subschema please see RPDSYS00: SCHE.TOB0

Change system parameters in customizing

The procedure for setting up the new functionalities is described in the following steps in the implementation guide:

1. Set start of break dynamically
2. Define break schedules to be imported
