Selection and Collective Processing

The SAP System supports all functions which can be used to process multiple objects simultaneously. To select objects for processing, you must enter specific selection criteria.

To avoid making the same entries every time you call up one of these functions, use this step to define the following selection aids:

• selection variants

• selection rules

• status selection profiles

• list variants for list processing

• substitution rules for list processing

• With allocation groups , you can group orders together in a controlling area so that you can settle them together

• You can use matchcodes to find an order, even if you do not know the number

• User-defined classification characteristics are available for use in order selection
