Improved
Usability of Logon Group Maintenance 
Use
With Release 4.6C of the SAP System, the look and feel of the user interface of Transaction SMLG has been improved to facilitate logon group maintenance. The main changes are as follows:
- You can see at a glance the status of each instance in a logon group
- Additional icons in the application toolbar
Instead of searching
through the menu paths, you can now use pushbuttons to maintain logon groups
faster than ever before.
- ALV controls
The addition of ALV
controls enbles you to define the sort order of the information displayed,
which you can then save as a user-defined variant and call up
later.
- Tabstrips in the logon group Create/change Entry dialog box
It is now easier
than ever to maintain the assignment and properties of an instance to a logon
group. The Assignment screen of the dialog box focusses on the
assignment of an instance to a logon group. On the Properties
screen, you can assign a specific IP address or define threshold values for a
particular instance. If you do not sp ecify any values on this screen, the
default values are used.
- External RFC flag
This option is
displayed on the Properties tab screen of the Create/change Entry
dialog box.. It indicates whether or not the logon group should also be
used by external RFC logon.
