Enhanced Mass Processing of Production Orders

Scope of Functions

The mass processing function for production orders has been enhanced:

• You can use the extensive selection criteria and profiles from the order information system

• All mass processing functions that were previously available (except for collective conversion of planned orders) have been collected together in a standardized environment

• New functions have been added

Collective release, print and mass processing have been converted to mass processing in the order information system. As a result, the following transactions have been removed from the menu but are still available:

• CO04 Print

• CO05 Collective release

• CO44 Mass processing

In mass processing, the following functions are now available:

• Material availability check

• Release

• Print

• Costing

• Scheduling

• Generate capacity requirements

• WM material staging

• Picking

• Set/delete user status

• Confirmation

• Technically complete

• Close

• Log display

The individual list for order headers has been set up as the default entry point for mass processing. Mass processing functions can be used for the following objects:

• Order headers: All functions

• Components: Print, picking, log display

• Operations: Set/delete user status, print, release, picking, log display, confirmation

• Production resources/tools: Print, log display
