Define Customer Classifications

In this menu option, you define the customer classifications to which customers can belong.

You specify the customer classification in the general information of the customer master record as part of the marketing information. This means that the allocation to a customer classification is valid for all sales areas.

When processing a sales activity, you can display the customer classification to which a customer belongs. To do this you call up customer master data as additional information.

The customer classification is not copied into the sales documents.

Actions

1. Specify an alphanumeric key which can have up to 2 characters and a description for the customer classifications.
2. Make sure that the customer classifications are entered in the customer master records.
