In this menu option, you define the sectors a customer can belong to.
You specify the industry sector in the general data of the customer master record as part of marketing information. That means that the allocation to an industry sector is valid for all sales areas.
When processing a sales activity, you can display the industry sector to which a customer belongs. Here, you call up customer master data as additional information in the sales activity.
Maintaining branches must be done in cooperation with financial accounting as branches belong to general vendor/customer data.
