Deletion of Test Data in CO-PA

Purpose

In the specified operating concern XXXX, the program deletes the transaction data from tables CE1XXXX (actual line items), CE2XXXX (plan line items) and CE3XXXX (segment level). Data records are not deleted from the table CE4XXXX. Once the deletion has been carried out, a log appears displaying the number of deleted records.

Note
The program is only intended to be used to reset test data. In productive systems, you should use the archiving or reorganization tools.

Prerequisites

To delete transaction data, users require the following authorization: activity "06" (delete) for the authorization object "K_KEA_TC" (maintain operating concern).

Activities

You can choose from the following options:

Delete planning data: all planning data in the operating concern is deleted.

Delete actual data: all actual data in the operating concern is deleted.

Test run: no deletions are carried out in the database; the records simply read and displayed in the log.

Example

If you have selected the option "Delete planning data", all entries from table CE2XXXX and the planning data from table CE3XXXX are deleted. Table CE1XXXX is not affected.
