plan version

Definition

The version enables you to keep two or more sets of data for the same object. You can maintain and evaluate several plan versions at the same time.

Use

You may wish to have different versions of plan data based, for example, on

• the type of assumption for the forecast (optimistic, pessimistic),

• when the plan was created (original plan, updated forecast),

• how binding the plan is.
