In this workstep, you maintain the activity
procedure for warehouse processes. You assign the previously defined warehouse
activities to the warehouse processes used for determining the planned TO
processing time:
During the determination of the target time for the TO item, the system splits the TO item into the partial segments Source, Destination, and, if required, Return. For each partial segment, the system tries to determine the target time.
The following assignments apply:
The individual warehouse activities for each warehouse process are determined for the partial segments and a target time is calculated accordingly for each warehouse activity.
The assignment of warehouse activities to a real warehouse process is usually called a warehouse sub-process.
| Whse process | Nr. | Warehouse activity |
|---|---|---|
| R StockRmvl (WM target time) | 001 | 1 Stock removal |
| P StockPlcm (WM target time) | 001 | 2 Stock placement |
As a rule, the assignment of a warehouse activity to each of the two processes 'R' und 'P' is sufficient for determining the target time. This was taken into consideration accordingly in the above example.
If you have a stock placement transfer order with 4 items, the target time for each TO item is determined for the source segment using the warehouse activity 1, and for the destination segment using warehouse activity 2.
SAP does not supply warehouse sub-processes.
Maintain the warehouse sub-processes.
