Selection Procedure
Description
As of 3.0A, the Selection procedure is available as a menu
option. This provides support for the selection procedures for vacancy
assignment and for staffing a vacancy.
- Support of vacancy assignment
Applicants not yet assigned to a vacancy can be listed and directly assigned
to one or more vacancies Selection procedure -> Applicant pool
-> List . If you are using Recruitment in conjunction with
Personnel Planning and Development, the system can help you find suitable
vacancies for an applicant or suitable applicants for a vacancy by performing
automatic comparisons of requirements profiles. You can either use
user-definable requirements profiles Selection procedure ->
Applicant pool -> Qualifications or the requirements profile for
the position in question Selection procedure ->
Screening.
- Support of decision-making
Applicants not assigned to a particular vacancy can be listed and their
suitability for the vacancy checked using a short profile and their archived
application documents. The resulting decision can then be recorded in the
system directly from the list Selection procedure ->
Decision. You can then carry out the follow-up actions connected with
this decision Selection procedure -> Administration.
