By using an information structure to index archives, you no longer need to carry out archive selection when searching for archived production orders.
To speed up the process by which archived production orders can be accessed, the production orders archiving object (PP_ORDER) has been linked to the Archive Information System. For this purpose, the standard field catalog SAP_PP_ORDER001 and the standard information structure SAP_PP_ORDER001 have been issued for the archiving object PP_ORDER. If required, you can create your own field catalogs and information structures.
