Maintain Carryforward Parameter 

Use

Procedure

  1. Choose Accounting ® Financial accounting ® Funds Management ® Additional functions ® Closing operations ® Maintain carryforward parameter.
  2. Define carryforward parameters for each FM area and define the desired carryforward category.
  3. Save your entry.

Result

In order to be able to use the carryforward parameters for defining carryforward rules for individual FM account assignments, you must define these in the Funds Management Customizing.

To do this choose, for carryforward parameters which serve to control the commitment carried forward, in the Funds Management Customizing Additional functions ® Closing operations ® Commitment closing operations ® Assign carryforward parameter for commitment carryforward.

For carryforward parameters which serve to control budget carryforward, choose Additional functions ® Closing operations ® Budget Closing operations ® Enter settings for carrying forward residual budget.
