SAPphone: New
Interface for Telephony Functions
Use
Up until now, many telephony functions, such as
Deflect call and Conference calls, were only available in the Customer
Interaction Center. As of Release 4.6C, all functions provided by SAPphone are
also available in other applications. Up until now, users in other
applications were only able to accept, initiate and end calls, display data
for inbound calls or go to an application when an inbound call is
received.
In addition to the enhanced function range, the
SAPphone interface also provides the following advantages:
- The window is displayed as soon as an inbound
call is received, without the user having to carry out an action on the screen
first. Certain prerequisites are, however, required for this in the telephony
environment.
- In contrast to the previous dialog box,
Softphone is independent of the window in which the application transaction is
processed. The user can work in parallel in both windows.
- The user guide for creating notes has been
improved and made more intuitive.
- Direct access to the work center settings and
the user settings.
