Defining the Visualization Segment 

Prerequisites

You must create a line hierarchy and insert a sort buffer between the line segments.

Procedure

  1. Starting from the planning table, choose Sequencing ® Select line segments.

    2. The system displays the graphic display of the line hierarchy.

  2. To reset the current visualization segment, click on it and choose Edit ® Visualization segment ® Deselect.
  3. Click on the new line segment to be defined as the visualization segment and choose Edit ® Visualization segment ® Define.
  4. If necessary, you can define another visualization segment. For example, you can define the first and last line segments as the visualization segment.
  5. Choose Continue.

Result

The visualization segment(s) you defined is/are displayed in the planning table and in the sequence schedule.
