Accessing the Planning Table with Sequencing Using the Line Hierarchy

Prerequisites

You must create a line hierarchy for your production line.

You must maintain the production rate / takt time for the production line.

Procedure

Starting from the Repetitive Manufacturing menu, choose Planning ® Planning table ® Change mode.

The system displays the initial screen of the planning table.

Enter the Plant and in the Period tab page enter either Shift or Day as the period.

In the Production line field, enter the Header of a line hierarchy.

If necessary, select Material Overview.

In the Scheduling tab page, select Sequencing.

Select the Line-on or the Line-off view of the orders.

Choose Planning table.

Result

The system selects all materials and displays them in the material overview.

Select the materials you want to plan and choose Table.

The system displays the planning table. In the planning table, the Sequencing menu is now available. From here, you can activate the Sequence schedule.
