Employee Self-Service (ESS) for Asia Pacific 

Use

The SAP Employee Self-Service (ESS) solution for Asia Pacific lets employees in your company retrieve and update data using your corporate intranet and internet.

As of Release 4.6C, eight standard ESS services enable the employees in your enterprise to ensure that the information about themselves are correct while simultaneously reducing the number of time-consuming and expensive activities performed by the Human Resources Department.

In addition to these eight standard services, we provide additional ESS services for specific countries.

Standard ESS Services

Employees can create, display, change, or delete the following personal details in your company's intranet:

These eight ESS services are valid for Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

Country-Specific ESS Services

In addition to the standard services, we provide the following country-specific ESS services:

The Emergency contact service is available for Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
The Personal ID service is available for Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
The Alternative Names service is available for Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

The details entered or changed by the employees are effective only after the Human Resources Department approves the changes. This ensures that validated data is available in the system. The External Payments service is available for New Zealand.

The Tax Thailand service is available for Thailand.
