Document Integration in the Production Order
Scope of Functions
With document integration in the production order, you can create fixed links from production orders to documents in the Document Management System (DMS). The following functions are available:
- Automatic creation of document links (copied from the document items in the BOM or the document links to the material master of the material produced)
- Online creation of document links
- Display and maintenance of document links
- Integration of document links in the Product Structure Browser
- Automatic deletion of document links
- Archiving of document links
- Printing of document links using a separate list
Document links are subject to the following restrictions:
- You can no longer print original documents
- Multiple links to the same document information record are not possible
Effects on Customizing
You must set up which document types can be linked to the production
order. The document types in question must be linked to the object PORDER.

You set up the automatic creation of document links in the
production scheduling profile.
- Customizing for Shop Floor Control: Master Data -> Define Production Scheduling Profile
