Exchange of Aggregated Data

In the exchange of aggregated data, data in the operative application is aggregated in an information structure defined for this purpose in the respective information system. This data is then sent at regular intervals to a central system. Evaluations take place at local level.

Access to individual documents from the application or the cumulation of the imported data is no longer possible in the receiving system.

The exchange of aggregated data causes the locally aggregated data to be made centrally available.

Requirements

To ensure this, you can assign the
logical system to the information structure as the last characteristic value in the definition. SAP considers that one logical system corresponds to exactly one client and is therefore clearly defined.

Recommendation

To guarantee synchronized data collection in all of the participating systems, you should determine a system as the maintenance system before you begin. The information structure for the exchange of aggregated data will be defined in this maintenance system and the system will supply data to all of the other systems. The maintenance system can be either one of the local systems or, alternatively, the central system.
