Exchange of Aggregated Data
In the exchange of aggregated data, data in the operative application is aggregated in an information structure defined for this purpose in the respective information system. This data is then sent at regular intervals to a central system. Evaluations take place at local level.
Access to individual documents from the application or the cumulation of the imported data is no longer possible in the receiving system.
The exchange of aggregated data causes the locally aggregated data to be made centrally available.
Requirements
- Sender and receiver must use the same information structure for the exchange of aggregated data.
- In addition, this information structure must be defined identically in all of the participating systems.
- The combinations of characteristics that are used in the local systems must not overlap, otherwise the data might be overwritten.

To guarantee synchronized data collection in all of the participating systems, you should determine a system as the maintenance system before you begin.
