Define
selection variant
In this processing step, you define a selection
variant containing criteria for the selection of the messages and message logs
to be deleted. You also specify whether a deletion log is to be
created.
Note
Message logs matching your selection criteria
are only deleted if the corresponding process message has not been sent to the
process message record.
Activities
To create a new selection variant, proceed as
follows:
1. Select the activity Define selection
variant.
The system branches
to the initial screen of the ABAP/4 editor.
2. Enter the program name RCOCB009 and select
the menu options Goto -> Variants
.
The system displays
the initial screen for maintaining variants.
3. Enter a name for the variant you want to create and select
Create.
The system branches
to the screen for maintaining selection criteria.
4. Enter the desired criteria.
5. Save your selection variant.
