EnjoySAP - New Interface for Cost Center Standard Hierarchy

Scope of Functions

A new graphical user interface for maintenance in the cost centers standard hierarchy was created for the Enjoy project. This user interface has the following new functions:

• The system displays the hierarchy in a clear tree structure:

• You can use drag-and-drop to maintain the hierarchy.

• The system only reads lower hierarchy levels if requested by the database.

This enables you to branch to hierarchy maintenance more easily.

• You can display extra columns for the tree structure of the standard hierarchy.

You can also display all data that is available in each set of master data as an extra column in the standard hierarchy.

• You can process master data for cost centers and cost center groups directly from hierarchy maintenance.

• You can use the right mouse button to create new cost centers and cost center groups in the tree structure.

Note

The previous maintenance for standard hierarchy for cost centers (based on list technology) is still available under the old transaction codes.

Effects on Customizing

If you have activated the enterprise organization in a controlling area, you can no longer carry out group maintenance for the standard hierarchy of cost centers or profit centers.
