Use

After confirming the delivery date brought forward by the sales person, the system notifies co-worker of the respective shipping point via an express work item in his inbox who can then create the delivery for the sales order by simply pressing a button.

Prerequisites

Log on to the IDES system with the user WF-SD-3 and the password WELCOME (employee in warehouse Helga Milster in material storage Hamburg).

Procedure

Should the system display a dialog box with the message that the user received an express work item, select Inbox in the dialog box.

    The Business Workplace of <your name> screen appears.

  2. Choose Inbox ® Workflow ® Grouped According to Task ® Creating Delivery for Make-To-Order Production.
  3. Select the line Customer Order ### containing the sales order number from this demo and choose .

    4. The Delivery Create - Overview: Quantities screen appears.

    Please note that you did not enter (as usually) the shipping point, the sales order and the storage location. This data "is known" by the workflow system from the process context and is transferred to the transaction.

  4. Choose Outbound delivery ® Save and subseq.func ® Transfer order.
  5. The system displays a dialog box, requesting whether you completed the work item you worked on beforehand.
  6. Choose complete work item.
