Infotypes 0103
and 0104 and Canada Savings Bond Functionality 
Use
Infotypes 0103 Bond Purchases and Infotype 0104 Bond Denominations have been removed from the system as they are no longer needed. The mechanism for administering bond purchases was replaced by Canada Savings Bond functionality. This functionality
- allows you to deduct amounts from employees' pay if they participate in the New Canada Savings program
- includes a report that reads savings bond deductions from the payroll results and generates a magnetic tape file formatted according to Bank of Canada specifications
Effects on Customizing
To use the Canada Savings Bond functionality, you must make the following settings in the Payroll Canada Implementations Guide (IMG).
- Create number range intervals for each company
code in your organization to ensure unique transmission IDs on each
transmission file to the Bank of Canada. This is done in step

- Define a physical file path to which the
Canada Savings Bond file generation program will download the generated files.

- Define wage types and wage type groups to be used for Canada Savings Bond processing. This is done in steps
