Working with Planning Result and Planning Situation 

In the display of the planning result or the planning situation, you have the following processing options:

Open and close hierarchy elements

Click on an element that is highlighted in color

The level directly below the element is opened or closed.

On the lowest level, a detail dialog box with a list of all related MRP elements appears.

Display MRP elements for a particular period

Click on a period that is highlighted in color (column header)

  

Scroll into the past or the future

, , ,

You can scroll through columns or pages.

Change the period display

View ® Time axis ® <required period>

As standard, the evaluation is displayed in monthly periods.

Change unit of measure used for display

View ® Unit ® Unit of measure

In the SAP Standard System, the quantities of the MRP elements in the display are displayed in the base unit of measure. If you have maintained alternative units of measure in the material master (for example output or order unit) or if the unit of measure can be converted into another unit (for example kilo into tons), the elements can also be displayed in these alternative units of measure.

Choose value display instead of quantity display

View ® Unit ® Valuation price

By choosing View ® Unit ® Price unit, you can select other price types and currencies.

Display MRP segments

Edit ® Choose segment

The system displays data only for the segment selected. The system shows which segment it is in the header of the evaluation.

Display and change MRP element

Click on the MRP element and then or in the detail dialog box

  

Convert MRP element

Click on the MRP element and then the appropriate function in the detail dialog box

  

Display pegged requirements or order report

Click on the MRP element and then or in the detail dialog box

Display warehouse stock (only for planning situation)

Goto ® Warehouse stock

  

Display the composition of a hierarchy element

Position the cursor next to a hierarchy element, and choose Goto ® Evaluation Profile.

A list of MRP elements that belong to the hierarchy element selected appears.

Save the evaluation layout

Planning situation or Planning result ® Save layout

If you defined an individual period split in Customizing, you can enter this period split here.

The same layout appears again the next time that you access the evaluation.

Set processing indicator for planning result

Edit ® Mark as processed

The processing indicator is not visible in the planning result itself.

Delete planning result

Planning result ® Delete document

If you do not delete the planning result manually, it remains in the system until a new planning result is created by a subsequent planning run.
