Improvements to performance in Asset Accounting

Description

In order to improve performance, the following changes were made in Release 3.0:

Periodic processing

The following periodic processing can only be carried out as a background job (Program -> Exec. in background ):

• creating depreciation posting session

• recalculation of depreciation

• fiscal year change

• year-end closing

• posting of asset values to depreciation area

• posting investment support

• cost planning

Standard reports

For all standard reports, the restriction still applies that a maximum of 1000 assets can be selected online. If you need to run the report for a larger volume of data, you have to start the report in background mode (Program -> Exec. in background).
