Selecting Sales Documents by Object Status

You can search for sales documents according to their current system status or user status. A list of sales documents with the status you have entered appears independantly of the selection criteria you enter. You can display a list of sales documents or sales document items at header or item level.

If you display sales documents at header level, the document number, current processing status and customer number are displayed.

If you display sales documents at item level, the material is displayed per item, as well as current processing status and customer number.

In order to search for sales documents according to status, proceed as follows:

In the initial screen, choose Logistics ® Sales and distribution ® Sales.

Choose Information System ® Orders or Quotations or Inquiries ® Sales Document By Object Status

This brings you to the selection screen for displaying by status.

Enter the following data in the selection screen:

– status by which you wish to search

– whether you wish to search by system status or user status

– other relevant selection criteria

You can display a list of available user statuses, by choosing Help ® Application help. You will then receive the corresponding program documentation. In the Prerequisites section, you can go directly to Customizing, where the status profiles are maintained.

Choose Execute.

You will receive a list of sales documents or sales document items corresponding to your selection criteria. Only the documents or items, for which the corresponding status is set, are chosen. You can select individual documents or document items for further processing.
