Deleting Items in a Sales Order 

Prerequisites

You can delete individual items in a sales document if there are no subsequent documents. For example, if an item has already been processed for delivery, you can no longer delete it in the sales order.

If you want to delete an item, you won’t be able to run an analysis on it later. Therefore, we recommend that you work with reasons for rejection (see Rejecting Items in Sales Document).

Procedure

  1. On the Sales screen, choose Sales document ® Change and enter the item that you want to change. Or you can generate a list of sales documents and select the one that you want to delete.

2. Select the item in the overview screen that you want to delete and choose Delete item (button under the table containing the items).

The system prompts you to confirm the deletion.

3. Save your changes.
