CO-PA account-based Profitability Analysis in Release 3.0A

Description

The Information System has some special features for account-based Profitability Analysis, which is new in Release 3.0A:

1. Special forms and reports
This type of Profitability Analysis is supported by separate forms, reports and authorization objects for combinations of characteristics. Apart from these objects, account-based CO-PA uses the same authorization objects as costing-based Profitability Analysis.

2. Hierarchy on characteristic "Cost element" via selected set
You can represent a hierarchy based on the characteristic "Cost element" by specifying a set in View V_TRSTHV of Table CCSS.

3. Columns with different currencies in the same report
You can display different currencies in the same report:

a) Controlling area currency

b) Company code currency

c) Transaction currency

For each currency you must enter a currency reference characteristic: controlling area, company code, transaction currency.

4. The line item lists are not supported in account-based Profitability Analysis. You can only display line items via the CO document display.
