New time-dependent fields in the asset master record
Description
The following two fields have been included in the time-dependent data in the asset master record for information purposes:
- Responsible cost center
This is the cost center which is responsible for
the asset, but the depreciation on the asset is not charged to this center.
(For example, the fleet of vehicles for the company cars, or the the Data
Processing department for the PCs.
- Personnel number from the R/3 HR (Human Resources) System
By entering a personnel number in the asset
master record, you can create a link, for analysis purposes, between an asset
and an employee.
Change system parameters in customizing
Both fields have been assigned to field groups of their own, so you can control them via the screen layout rules.
If you want to use these fields, you must revise the screen layout rules concerned.
