Up to now, external applicants and employees have had to send original application documents by mail to the human resources department when applying using the Employment Opportunities Easy Web Transaction (EWT) or the Employment Opportunities Employee Self-Service (service). From this release, applicants can attach their application documents to their online application, since the Employment Opportunities EWT and the Employment Opportunities service are now connected to the SAP ArchiveLink archiving component.
This means that the human resources department is relieved of administrative tasks such as scanning documents or archiving them manually, which saves your company time and money.

If applicants want to include application documents in their online application in electronic form, there are various format templates they can use. Applicants must use these formats so that the documents can be stored and forwarded to SAP ArchiveLink .

If you want the applicant to be able to use other templates, set this up in Customizing for Recruitment .
If your company wants to connect the Employment Opportunities EWT or the Employment Opportunities service to SAP ArchiveLink, carry out the activity Set Up Formats for Applicant documents for both the EWT and the service in Customizing for Recruitment . To access the activity in Customizing, choose Recruitment --> Easy Web Transactions (EWTs) --> Employment Opportunities --> Set up Employment Opportunities or Employee Self-Services (ESS) --> Employment Opportunities --> Employment Opportunities (ESS): Set up Service .
