Conversion of
Job Advertisement Costs to Euros 
Use
From this Release, you can convert job advertisement costs to euros, within Recruitment.
The report Converting job advertisement costs to euros (RPAPLEUR) enables you to do this.
If you have been using various currencies within one recruitment instrument for your job advertisement costs, you can convert your job advertisement costs to a currency which allows you to compare them.
We recommend that you carry out the conversion before you run statistical evaluations of your job advertisement costs.
The function includes the following detail functions:
- You can retroactively convert to euros advertisments that are already stored in your SAP System, to which you have allocated another currency.
- You can standardize various different currencies within one recruitment instrument (for example, job advertisements that your enterprise has placed in one newspaper) by converting them to euros.
- You can convert the job advertisement costs on the basis of the following criteria:
- Job advertisement
- Recruitment instrument
- Publication date
- Vacancy
- Currency
Effects on Existing Data
Job advertisement costs which you have already created can be converted using the conversion report Converting Job Advertisement Costs to Euros (RPAPLEUR).The amount and the currency key for the job advertisement costs will automatically be converted to euros in the database.
Effects on System Administration
If you want to convert job advertisement costs in your company to EUROS, you must edit both the Exchange Rates (TCURR) and Conversion factors (TCURF) tables. To do this, you perform the following IMG activities in SAP Customizing:
Enter Exchange RatesYou can access these IMG activities in SAP Customizing via GeneralSettings --> Currencies --> Enter Exchange Rates or Define Translation Ratios for Currency Translation.
You must also run the conversion report Converting Job Advertisement Costs to Euros (RPAPLEUR).
