In this example, a document is archived while being processed in the document management system.
- You enter paper documents using a scanner. The scanner transfers the data to a computer capable of dealing with data in this form. On the computer screen, the document is displayed in the scan window, where you can check it for completeness and quality.
- If the data is acceptable, you can archive the scanned-in document using document management functions. To do this, you can either create a new document info record or archive the document against an existing document info record.
