Matchcodes in Asset Accounting

Description

In order to improve performance, the matchcodes for Asset Accounting were changed for Release 3.0 as follows:

• The matchcode for the asset classes (AANK) was changed to the normal self-generated F4 value help. When using the asset master data transaction, you are offered a report in which you can still make selections. The matchcode was deleted.

• The matchcode for assets (AANL) was changed to a transparent matchcode.

These changes require considerably less memory.

The matchcode for the depreciation key was deleted.

In order to use these advantages, you have to start the report RAXPRA03 when changing release from 2.2. The matchcode search via text fields will only run correctly once this report has been run properly.
