The functions for creating a Release IMG have been changed and extended.
As of Release 3.0, two variants are available for creating an IMG.
Variant 1 lets you create a release-specific view of an active Customizing project. When defining the view, you can limit the selection (new, or changed and corrected Customizing functions - from release - to release).
You can use variant 2 if you have completed your implementation projects and want to generate a separate project with the new release. In addition to the selection options described under variant 1, you must define a project header.
