Long text templates
Description
In Release 3.0, you can define long text templates and assign them to particular asset classes. With these templates, the system supports long text entry when you create an asset in the relevant class. In each asset class, you can store templates for all the long texts in an asset.
Change system parameters in customizing
To assign long text templates to asset classes, go to the Asset Customizing menu and choose Master data -> Asset class
