Use
You can use this function to create a partner directly when you enter a loan transaction. You also have the option of creating partners using the general Treasury business partner management function, or within Loans Management (under Master Data ® Business Partner).
When you create an application, offer or contract, you can call up all the data for the various business partners by choosing Partner overview.
From the partner overview, you can branch directly to the data defined using the general Treasury business partner management function and to display or change partner data in the various screens.
Procedure
1. Choose Partner overview.
2. The system displays the partners for the contract in a Partner list. If several partners are listed for a loan you have granted, such as main borrower or alternative payer, you need to maintain the bank details of each partner for future payments.
a. The field BnkT (partner bank type) tells the system which of the partner’s banks to use. In business partner management, you assign a unique name to each set of your partner’s bank details. Choose the relevant set of bank details.
b. To define this partner as alternative payer for the dunning charges and interest, select the Dunn.payer field. The main borrower is the legal recipient of the dunning letter. Alternative payers or payees can, for example, be other people that pay the dunning charges and dunning interest.
c. Via the Dunn.lett. field you control which type of dunning letter is sent to the main borrower or alternative payer for loans given (for example, original dunning letter to borrower and copy of dunning letter to alternative payer).
3. Double-click on a partner to call up the screen for editing the partner’s basic data in the general Treasury business partner management function.
4. Save the data you have entered and changed.
