Entering Index Values Manually
Use
This function enables you to enter index values in the R/3 System manually.

You can also call up this function in Basic Functions for Customizing in Treasury by choosing Enter Indexes.
Prerequisites
Before you can enter an index value for the first time, you have to define the index in Customizing for Basic Functions in Treasury by choosing Define Index and define index types by choosing Define Index Types.
Features
You can enter new data and/or change or delete existing entries. You can use the following functions in the input help to do this: Copy as, Undo change and Position.
Activities

Use the Position function to access the value you want to change quickly. Enter the Securities index, the Index type and the Price date you are searching for. The required index value jumps to the top of the list.

To enter a new index value you can use the Copy as function on the initial screen to copy an existing entry as a reference. You then make any changes manually.
