Entering Security Prices Manually
Use
This function enables you to edit security prices manually. It does not matter if you import the prices into the system using the market data file interface or using datafeed.
Prerequisites
Before you can enter security prices, you must have defined at least one exchange for the class, and for unit-quoted securities, you must have defined the price currency. See also:

The screens for displaying and changing security prices are divided into three areas.
The first area displays the General data for the ID number and the second area alongside displays the High/low prices.
The third area below, Price information, displays the security prices in chronological order. You can see the following entries for the price in the list:
- Price date
- Price type
- Market value
(the market value is entered in line with the price type)
A market value of zero is not defined.
- Currency

This field does not appear for percentage-quoted securities.
- Price notation
- Source
(The source tells you whether the price was entered manually or whether it was imported by some automatic transmission system (e.g. TELERATE)
By choosing Chart, you can display the price trends graphically.
If you want to know when the prices were high or low, click the relevant 9 (
Search) button to the right of the price. The price you are searching jumps to the first line.
If you want to display the price for a certain day, enter the date in the field in the lower part of the screen and press Enter. The price for that day jumps to the first line.
In the change mode, you enter new price information in the first line of the price information list. Enter the Price date, the Price type, the Market value and the Price notation. The price date (current date) and the price type (01) are default settings, but you can overwrite them.
You can also overwrite existing price data manually (such as data which has been imported via datafeed).
