List of Permitted Flow Categories

You can use the manual posting function to enter flows that have the following flow categories:

Tax	KT
Refundable tax	KTR
Charges not capitalized	KN
Charges capitalized	KA
Manual revenues	ME
In exceptional cases you can still post:
Accruals/deferrals	EAAR
Change in book value	X28
Manual book value change	XA28

It is technically possible to post flows belonging to the latter three flow categories using the incoming payments function in cases where the accrual/deferral function and the valuation function are insufficient, e.g. for disagio accruals/deferrals. However, we recommend that you do not use these flow categories, as they may lead to inconsistencies.

Note that accrual/deferral flows posted via incoming payments or manual posting are not recognized as accruals/deferrals by the actual accrual/deferral function. When accruals/deferrals are calculated using this function, the accrual/deferral flows posted manually are not taken into account. This means that the standard accrual/deferral and valuation functions cannot be used in conjunction with manual accruals/deferrals or valuations entered under manual posting/incoming payments. We recommend that you only process accruals/deferrals and valuations using the Accrual/deferral and Valuation functions provided.
