Enhancements to
Transfer Prices for Projects 
Use
- From this release, you can create a transfer
price agreement either as in earlier release, using a fixed amount, or with a
new function that usess a price with a prescribe quantity. You use the
document type to determine how you want to define the
transfer price agreement. In both cases, the document header contains the
total amount of the agreement.
If you define a transfer price agreemenbt using price and quantity, the system shows the columns Quantity , Unit of Measure, and Price . You have the optiont of specifying a total value only. If you enter the total value and the quantity, the system automatically calculates the price per unit or measure.
If you want to define a transfer price agreement by means of a total amount, only the Total Value will accept input.
- Mass processing of transfer price agreements
now has its own transaction. Choose Transfer Price
Agreement -> Change Using List.
This function enables you to display the most important data from a number of transfer price agreements in one list. You can jump from the list to the change mode for the individual agreements. Presentation in list form has a number of other advantages. You can:
- Allocate several transfer price items simultaneously.
- Move the list columns around
- Display only particular characteristics, with the help of filters
- Store user-specific display variants
- Update the list at any time
- We have made it easier to search for the document numbers of transfer price agreements and allocations. You can now search for transfer price agreements/allocations by their assignment to profit centers. The system displays all the documents in a profit center.
- The profit center now appears as a
characteristic in hierarchy reports, so that you can have the system display
values by profit center in your report.
In addition, we now deliver two new reports for analyzing transfer prices:
- Report Transfer Prices: Service Recipient (12TFP1) displays a project with transfer prices, as viewed by the ordering party.
- Report Transfer Prices: Service Provider (12TFP2) displays a project with transfer prices, as viewed by the contractor.
- The connection between the transfer price agreement and the generic object services, you can now link your transfer price agreements to objects such as notes, Office documents, or mails.
- You can use the new, controllable message to stipulate how the system should react if a service provider wants to close more than one transfer price agreement.
- You can print your transfer price agreements and allocations. You determine the print format by, for example, arranging the columns according to your information needs.
Effects on Customizing
To use the new functions, carry out the following in Project System customizing:
Maintain Documents for Transfer Price Agreement. This setting
determines whether the system defines transfer price agrements using price and
quantity, or using the total value.
Change Message Control . Use this customizing setting to
determine the appearance of controllable system messages.
