To create a new status using the Menu Painter:

• Create the status

• Create the menu bar (or create a reference to an existing menu bar)

• Add menu entries

• Define new function key settings
• Define the standard toolbar (or create a reference to an existing one)

• Define the application toolbar (or create a reference to an existing one)

• Test the status

• Activate the status

You can maintain a status from various points within the ABAP Workbench.

• By forward navigation from the ABAP Editor
• From the Object Navigator, under Program objects
• From the initial screen of the Menu Painter
