Customizing Configuration Menu

Description

Previously the Implementation Guide was shipped with a Configuration menu.

This configuration menu will not be enhanced and is no longer available as of Release 3.0.

Reasons for the discontinuation of the configuration menu:

• Two tools for the same task confuse the user.

• The Implementation Guide now has very good performance.

• The Implementation Guide is complete.

• The configuration menu could not be used project-specifically:

• The configuration menu had no keyword search.

• You could not extend the configuration menu.

• You could not leave the configuration menu open.

• In the configuration menu had too many difficult abbreviations.

Changes in procedure

If you have been working with the configuration menu up to now, you can now use the Implementation Guide.

The Customizing menu describes which options are available.
