Activate Automatic TO Creation

After posting a material document in Inventory Management , you can create a transfer requirement (TR) or a posting change notice in the Warehouse Management System. Following this, you can create transfer orders automatically, that is, in the background.

If an error situation occurs during background processing, the user recieves the messages per mail.

Requirements

The component MM-IM (Inventory Management) is implemented.

Activities

Set the necessary parameters for processing in the specified sequence:

1. Mail recipient

During background generation of transfer orders, you can create logs and error messages using mail messages. These mail messages are allocated to certain recipients with a mail indicator.

Determine the mail indicators and allocate them to the recipients.
If both fields Mail recipient and Document user are filled with data, the entry in Document user counts.
2. Movement type control

Depending on the movement type , you can define whether a transfer order is to be created automatically directly following an Inventory Management posting for transfer requirements or posting change notices.

Activate background processing for each movement type by setting values in the fields "IN->WM" and "Mail" accordingly.
