Backflushing Ordering Costs 

Use

You use this function if, in the final backflush, you also want to backflush lot-size-independent costs. Lot-size-independent costs can be setup costs or costs for lot-size-independent materials. In repetitive manufacturing, setup costs and firmed quantities are not generally part of each production lot, but come, for example, at the start of a new production series.

Integration

The system determines the lot-size-independent costs from the lot-size-independent component quantities in the BOM, and the setup costs from the operation times in the routing.

Activities

  1. In the initial screen for backflushing, select Details.
  2. Select the indicator Lot-size-independent costs and choose Copy.

You have to reselect the indicator every time you want to backflush ordering costs.
