New design of Organizational Management

Scope of Functions

A new interface for Organizational Management has been designed and implemented in conjunction with Cooper Interaction Design.

The new design will focus on the requirements of employees in the personnel and organization departments. This user group is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the organizational plan in the system.

The new interface will fully support daily work activities of this group, such as creating and maintaining data and procuring information.

Features which make the new interface stand out:

• An overview of all the information is provided on one screen in three screen areas, this keeps navigation to a minimum:

• On the left of the screen, the Selection area, the employee uses search criteria to search for individual organizational objects.

• From here, these organizational objects can be transferred into the central Overview area . Here, they are displayed in their organizational environment.

• The area at the bottom of the screen, the Detail area displays information on individual objects which can be edited by employees.

• The new Drag and Drop functionality exemplifies the user friendliness of the new interface.

• Changes made by employees are immediately displayed in context.

To access the new interface, choose Human resources -> Organizational Management -> Organizational plan -> Organization and Staffing.
