Settlement Profile: Changes in 3.0
Description
Up to and including Release 2.2D, there was a distinction in the project profile between the settlement profiles for costs and for sales revenues. This distinction had no major advantage from a functional point of view, and often caused misunderstandings about the meaning and usage of the fields.
As of Release 2.2E, the "Settlement profile" field (until now "Settlement profile for costs") is basically used as default value for the settlement profile of the settlement rules in the WBS (work breakdown structure). The settlement profile for sales revenues is no longer used.
In earlier releases (up to and including 2.2D), we recommend that both settlement profiles are entered identically within a project profile.
