Previously, the data for the collective release (approval) of requisitions had to be regularly updated. To do this, the system administrator had to recompile the asynchronous matchcode.
As of Release 3.0, this is unnecessary because there is a database index that selects the requisitions requiring release (approval).
In order that the requisitions to be released can be found via the database index, the release information from existing requisitions is copied to a new field "Subject to release". Report RM06BBIX "Initialize indicator 'Subject to release' in requisition" fills this field.
If you have previously used the release procedure for purchase requisitions - and, in particular, the collective release facility - you must run report RM06BBIX once only. The regular compilation of the matchcode is no longer necessary.
