Sales Pricing 

In earlier releases, you needed a customer inquiry assigned to the project in order to carry out a sales pricing.

From this release, you can create sales pricings for projects for which no inquiry exists. You access the relevant project in the central Project System maintenance tool, the Project Builder. The integration of the sales pricing into the Project Builder means that you can now control the whole business process - from creating the project to carrying out the sales pricing - using a single tool.

The following conditions apply to creating a sales pricing without a customer inquiry:

You can create a sales pricing and use it to create a quotation for both operative projects and projects in a simulation version. If you generate a quotation in a simulation version, the project must also exist as an operative project.

Effects on Customizing

For the system to take data from Easy Cost Planning for the sales pricing, you need to maintain a dynamic item processor (DIP) profile in Customizing. In the Project System IMG, choose Revenues and Earnings -> Integration with SD Documents -> Creating Quotations and Project Billing -> Maintain Profiles for Quotations and Billing and create a DIP profile with Easy Cost Planning as its source.
