Project
Builder
Use
In Release 4.6C the following changes and
additions have been made to the Project Builder
- You can now schedule your
project directly in the Project Builder, without having to switch to the
project planning board.
- In the structure tree you can see the original
application files of documents assigned to project objects. Depending on the
Customizing settings you can display Office documents and the EAI viewer
either in a separate window or in the detail screen area.
- You can create and edit simulation
versions, which you can store user-specifically in the worklist and
your templates.
- You can now access generic object services
(for example attachment lists, personal notes, workflow) for objects using the
context menu in the structure tree.
- You can call up Easy Cost
Planning directly fron the Project Builder. You can use the following
scenarios:
- The system only reads networks when they are
displayed in the structure tree. This reduces the time the system requires to
load the Project Builder and improves performance. If you want to read all
existing networks when loading the Project Builder, specify in the user
settings that the structure should be expanded completely.
- A copy function for project
substructures is now available in the structure tree. You can copy individual
project objects together with their subordinate objects and insert them at
another position in the project hierarchy.
- You can now also move milestones and PS texts
in the structure tree using drag & drop.
