Setting up the Shipping Control Tables

Although some tables used in R/3 Shipping may not directly link that system to WM, it is still necessary to maintain them so that deliveries can be properly processed in WM. These tables link the R/2 System with the Shipping component in R/3.

R/3 Shipping Control Tables

Table

Function

633A

Connects the company code, plant, shipping path in R/2 to the plant, shipping point, shipping requirements and logical receiver in R/3

633B

Connects the company code and sales area in R/2 to the sales organization, sales path and division in R/3

633C

Connects the R/3 delivery type to the R/2 delivery type

633D

Used for converting storage types in the R/2 System to storage types in the R/3 System

633E

Used for conversion of storage conditions in transportation groups and loading groups

Once these tables have been maintained, the indicator in the delivery header for R/3 shipping is automatically set when the delivery is created. Processing is carried out accordingly.
